What’s sad about this poodle? I immediately recognized that its body belongs to John Deacon, of Queen. That’s his Fender Precision, and most people who’ve ever seen television will recognize the set and white outfit from the “live concert” portion of the “Bohemian Rhapsody” video.

The sad part is that I thought the internet was laughing at a “John Deacon’s hair looks like a poodle!” joke, when in reality they were laughing at a “OMG ANIMATED GIF POODLE BASSIST,” which is much funnier and broader in appeal.  It was just that for one crystalline, dizzying moment, I was not alone in my nerdery.  There were others like me.  And then… Nothing.
